Yesterday, @MuscleNerd and @pod2g tweeted that they made some progress in the A5 jailbreak. There is still no ETA, but they’re moving forward. It also looks like @saurik has also joined their team. For those of you who don’t know saurik, he’s the guy behind Cydia.

In an earlier tweet, pod2g said that the sandbox was one of the main problems at the moment. With the support of saurik and planetbeing, it seems that they have made a big step to resolve that issue.

Looks like we just need to wait a little more until we finally get the Corona iOS 5 untether on our A5 devices.
