@chpwn just introduced Spire, a new tool for installing Siri on unsupported devices such as the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS or the iPod Touch. Apple’s unencrypted ramdisk in the most recent ipsw allows this tool to legally extract all the Siri files.
However, Spire is not a complete solution. Apple still requires authorization to use Siri, so information from an iPhone 4S is still required. To insert this information, Spire allows you to enter your own proxy server address.
If you have your own SiriProxy Server and know someone with an iPhone 4S, you can now easily enter the proxy server address into Spire on your iPhone 4. (How to install SiriProxy)
We currently don’t know if they have plans to release a fully working Siri port as soon as the iPhone 4S jailbreak is available.
We haven’t heard from any people who installed Spire on their device, but based on @chpwn’s history, it is probably safe to say that Spire will not have any major bugs like other releases such as SiriN1ght have. Let us know in the comments below!

anyone want t make a video of how to?
Does it includes caches?
it enters to safe mode and crash springboard on iphone 3Gs 32g old boot rom !! 🙁
on ios 5.0.1 unteatheard
Simple. Upgrade to iPhone 4! 3G isn’t anywhere near what it has to be to run this stuff smoothly.
Common stop drinking apple word, Siri will work even on first iphone … Siri was working on 3gs before the 4s release.
I have installed this tweak and i got it up on my 3gs now i will check for proxy if i can do something.
i don’t see a gui, all i see is the spire under settings but not general/siri on settings
I had the same problem. You need to get spire from the BigBoss repository and not from another repository you found. Upgrade cydia when you first open the app if it asked then look in all packages under sections for Spire. A lot of people are trying to download this so the server may be overloaded. Just keep trying. After you install, reboot and enable Siri in the general settings and you will be good to go. Have yet to find a proxy server to use though.
Is Guzzoni.apple.com a server?
Spire would be a great addition except……Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and a variety of other apps do not work after installation. Unless, I am doing something wrong….At any rate, I got my SiriProxy up and running, just wish I had a 4S.
