As we mentioned earlier, you can get Siri to tweet for you with a little workaround.
You can do the same with Facebook. Just activate your mobile number at https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=mobile&t and create a new contact “Facebook” with the mobile number “32665”. You can now update your status through Siri using “Text Facebook, *status*”. Just remember that you use up a text message every time you tweet or post a facebook status.
If you want to find out how to setup Siri to tweet for you, head over to our article about that.

I set it up exactly as shown here, and it won’t work. Siri keeps saying, “To whom shall I send it?”. She won’t accept “Facebook” as a contact name.
Strange, it works fine for me, i just tested it. Are you sure you have a contact with the name “Facebook”?
Yep, I actually did get it to work finally. I had put “Facebook” as the company name and Siri wasn’t picking that up. I tried it as first name and it wouldn’t work; finally I put it in as the LAST name and it worked. Phew. LOL
But I was having problems with Siri last night prior to this. She wasn’t able to complete ANY requests I made of her; I ended up having to disable her, reboot the phone, and enable her to get her to work. LOL Thanks!
